Today's post is another featured outfit from my summer lookbook. I am usually late jumping on most trends, but comic prints was not one that I thought I would be interested in until one of my Facebook fashionistas sent me a super cute picture of a peplum top that featured comic art. Her shirt was different, but I knew that I wanted to find something similiar. So I visited two Rainbow stores trying to locate the top, and ended it up with this one that I love even more! I love that the top has mesh sleeves because I have chubby arms and a birthmark that I do not always like to display. It is not that I am ashamed of those things, I just really have to be in the mood because it takes me out of my comfort zone. I have to admit that when I first saw this trend I thought it was childish. I mean where was I going to wear a shirt that says "BOOM" across my boobs. I can see my students wearing this, but then I remembered that date night is always the perfect occasion to wear something fun. I will probably never buy an item like this again, but I like to switch it up every now and then. I think I will use a very cliche phrase and say that I was able to make this look very "grown and sexy" surprisingly, so I was pleased.
