Cold Shoulder

Top  ~ Wet Seal (no longer available) but similar here and here
skirt ~ Forever21
boots ~ Nine West
clutch ~ Ashley Stewart

So I realize that I am late jumping on the cold shoulder trend, but sometimes it takes me a very long time to wear the items that I buy.  Honestly, I was not sure about my feelings towards this top that has been sitting in my closet for a long time.  The cold shoulder trend was huge over the summer, and it has lasted well into the fall.  I bought this top awhile back, after I had lost a few pounds.  Since I‘ve gained weight, I never felt the urge to wear it until today.  The concept of a just a little peak of shoulders is quite cute!  What I like most about this top is that it's a sweatshirt.  It was meant to be worn casual, but I didn’t feel like wearing it that way today.  In addition, it is on the snug side, so it really would not look right with my skinny jeans.  I don't know if I will ever buy another cold shoulder top (considering it took me so long to wear this one), but at least I finally pulled this out of my closet!  Thanks for reading...xo

Homecoming

Dress ~ Internacionale.com
Wedges - Payless
Clutch - Jessica Simpson (old)

I am always on the hunt to find new online sites to shop at because ASOS is my favorite and everyone else's.  I hate to be apart of the crowd.  The same thing happened when I used to be a huge lover of Beyonce.  One day it felt like I had found something special, and then overnight she was everyone's favorite, and I still like her, but it's not the same. So I was very excited when I found internacionale.com because they also have some very cute clothing.  The UK is always up to date with the latest fashions!  Keep in mind, this site does not cater to plus sizes.  They go up to a size UK 18, which is US 14.  I am not a 14, but depending on how much a garment stretches or how it is cut, I may be able to wear it.

I really don't know how to describe the print of this dress because it is sort of abstract, but it's definitely apart of the animal print family.  This dress is actually on sale this week, and I wish it would have been on sale when I bought it, but that's how it goes.  I am all about comfort these days, so I paired the dress with a pair of cute wedges, that I surprisingly picked up from Payless.  I have not shopped at Payless in years, but the last time I went shopping with my mom I saw some very cute options; and their shoes are not as cheap as they used to be.  So, I may pop in every now and then.

I was sad to return home from a great weekend, but you know the saying, "All good things must come to end."  See you next time.  Thanks so much for reading!

Houndstooth & Leather

Jacket - eshakti
Faux leather leggings - DKNYC
clutch - H&M (old)
Shoes - No clue (old)

Let me start by saying that eshakti.com never disappoints. When I was contacted to select a piece from their new fall/winter arrivals, it was so hard to decide what to pick, until I laid my eyes on this jacket!  Everyone knows that houndstooth is all the rage this fall, and this dynamic black and white houndstooth jacket, featuring a double-breasted button style on a classic silhouette is perfect.  I love the cut and the fit of this jacket, can you say amazing!  What better item to pair this jacket with than faux leather! Everyone needs a pair of leather or faux leather leggins or pants to rock this fall, and it is a style that I have recently become infatuated with.  I love how the leggings give this look an edge, while still maintaining a classic element.

So head over to eshakti to check out this jacket, along with many other fabulous pieces.

Sunday Goth

The color black...."How I do I love thee!  Let me count the ways!"
When I woke up yesterday for church I knew instantly that I wanted to wear all black.  You can't go wrong with this color because it makes you look slim and amazing.  I do not have a dark personality, but I am in love with dark colors for sure!  I have had these items for awhile, and they are staples in my wardrobe.  I cannot tell you how many black pieces I have in my closet, so I don't even try to fight it anymore.
Skirt - Lane Bryant (old)
