OOTD Work Edition

(skirt-Ashley Stewart, knit top- JC Penny, shoes-Target, belt-Ashley Stewart, earrings- local store)

There is not much to say about this adorable outfit that I wore to work.  I like to wear clothes to work that I feel look great, but are comfortable as well.  I loved the skirt when I saw it in the store, but of course they did not have my size.  So following the advice of Tim Gunn's saying, "Make It Work," I used a belt to cinch in the waist of the skirt.  This basic outfit turned out to be exactly what I had envisioned.  I felt the outfit was simple but cute and I received many compliments.

Weekend Chic OOTD #2

(jeggings-Lane Bryant, cardigan-Ross, hair bow-Burlington Coat Factory)

This is the second edition to my weekend chic look.  I mentioned in a previous post that I used to wear jeans a lot, but now I am in love with jeggings!  To be honest I am in love with any type of fabric that stretches because I love to be cute and comfortable.  I love this casual look and I cannot put into words how much I adore cardigans.  Ross always has cheap options for cardigans, so check them out if  you have a store in your town.

ASOS LOVE

(ASOS dress, Bandolino shoes-Macy's)

Ashley Stewart earrings

If you want to know what makeup I used visit my youtube channel

I really love the clothes from ASOS, so when I needed a dress for a white party I knew that I would be able to find something on the website.  Well I was right because I picked a winner!  I absolutely loved my dress and even though I ordered the wrong size, there was so much stretch in the material that somehow it still worked.  I felt great in the dress and I will definitely be ordering more pieces from ASOS in the future.

Weekend Chic OOTD

(shirt-Rainbow, sandals-Rainbow, necklace-Forever 21, skirt-Avenue)

The weekends for me are a time to kick back and relax.  I use to wear jeans mostly on the weekends, but know I am finding pleasure in wearing knits.  Knits are a great choice of fabric because they are cool during the summer months and can be dressed up or down.  Since  I was going out of town I decided to dress my outfit down.  I am not a big shopper at Rainbow shops, mostly due to the quality, but when I was in the store recently I picked up two items that I thought were really cute.  So I hope you like my weekend chic look because I sure did.
